You've probably all noticed the new influx of dating and marriage blogs/advice going around the inter-webs these days. Telling us that the 50% divorce rate has been a lie all these years, or rando guy giving advice to women about how to better understand their husbands. With so many self-proclaimed experts running around these days how's a person supposed to know what to believe?
Well, I kind of make it my goal to read all manner of "family life" articles - the good, bad and ugly. In fact the uglier it is the happier it makes me. For some reason I get a rise out of people spouting unsupported statistics.... probably cause I'm prideful and it makes me feel smarter. But then I stop and realize that people are actually buying this garbage! Poor, unsuspecting people are out in cyber space reading uneducated nonsense, and assimilating it into their lives, and I just can't have that.
So I started this blog. I'm a little biased here (then again so are all researchers), but I try really hard to only present you the facts. I'll do a lot of debunking on relationship myths, and marital urban legends, and try really hard to keep you from being bored. So feel free to poke around and see some of the stuff I've written.
